Slackware is another Linux operating system that was created to help with simplicity and stability of the working system. The various operating systems are classified in a number of categories. They can be for multi-user, which is for more than two users running programs. Multiprocessing, which is in effect the support for running multiple programs at the same time, and real time, which is responding to any data input immediately.

All operation systems supply a software platform, which coincide with the application programs so it can run. Each one has to be specifically written on top of whichever operating system being used. Depending on the need of the individual or business will determine which OS is right for you.
